The Furniture Refinishers is a locally owned shop that focuses on wooden furniture (including dressers, desks, chests, entertainment centers, beds, tables, and more) as well as interior wooden doors.
With more than two decades of experience, I pride myself on my artistic ability to touch up and restore wooden items. I place a high emphasis on quality and craftsmanship.

Over the years many wooden surfaces will have issues either via normal wear and tear or through accidental spills, etc. When this happens the restoration can actually be quite in depth. This usually involves stripping/sanding off the old finish and re-staining and sealing the wood. Due to the multiple steps and dry time involved refinishing projects will need to be done in shop.
These type of restorations are one of my most common. Often they happen when furniture is being moved or when something heavy comes into contact with the surface of the wood. In cases like this the damaged area will need to be cleaned out, filled in, and then repainted to match. Often this can be done on site, but those pieces that may have more in depth needs may require me to work on them in shop.
